HISTORY AND COMPANY BACKGROUND

Keep Profit Industrial Ltd. (KPI) has been established since 1988 in Hong Kong with our factory based in Huizhou, China. At the initial stage, our specialty in making various casual bags such as Carryon, backpack, wristbag and ski bag. In the early 90's, we introduced our traveling collection with luggages in different sizes combine into set, garment bags and traveling bags. Building on a foundation of innovative design approach, in 1992, we introduced many items and collections, including business cases, portfolios, computer cases and pilot cases. Over the years, we have developed a wide range of computer cases, trolley cases, multifunction high quality computer bags in various sizes and other versatile bags.

The sales volume of KPI and its international competitiveness have been increasing ever since the establishment of our factory in China. Our factory area has increased to 12,500 sq. meters in order to adapt to the increasing sales volume of our customers. We have increased our capacity of the factory and invested extra capital on machinery and human resources so as to meet the upsurge of demand. We are now employing more than 800 highly-skilled workers who are accommodated in the Cutting, Sewing, Riveting and Packing & Quality Control Departments. The whole manufacturing process and quality control are closely supervised and monitored by our experienced managerial team in Hong Kong.

We import superior raw materials from Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China and manufacture our goods wholly in China. Regarding the choice of materials, we mainly use nylon, polyester, PVC, coskin and leather with premier durability and stability. Moreover, we are using high quality zipper and pullers with various sizes and styles in all the bags we manufacture. All the accessories we merchandise such as hardware fittings, plastic buckles and other components which assembled the bag are of the finest quality and can be made to order with each customer's brand and designs.

Our strengths are to manufacture products with premier quality, excellent workmanship, able to manufacture versatile bags and satisfaction are always guaranteed. We have developed long-term business relationship with most of the companies with high reputation in the industry and highly recognized leading brands throughout the world.

Since each customer has its unique business character and needs, we have to satisfy him individually and is distinctively. As a result, product design, modifications and specifications offered by the customers are most welcome. We are able to design the product by understanding each customer ideas, product functions and features to suit the type of product each customer require. Also, new customers with OEM design are also welcome.

 

FACTORY STRUCTURE

CUTTING DEPARTMENT

Our cutting department equipped with 10 large, multi-functions and features cutting machineries can accurately cut the fabrics in different sizes, shapes efficiently. The cutting department has an organized and capacious area to store all the various styles and sizes of the cutting moulds. With the efficient lighting controls, workers are able to check and differentiate each piece of fabrics and able to run the manufacturing process smoothly in the initial stage. Additionally, with our highly experienced managerial team to systematically organized and managed the procedure, we are able to manufacture our products with the finest and excellent products.

SEWING DEPARTMENT

We are using a total of 360 advance sewing machines imported from Japan such as Mitsubishi, Brother, Seiko, Juki, Singer etc for our skilled and trained 600 workers daily usage. A team of quality controllers with their specialty in the sewing nature of the products supervised the whole process and procedures, we can guarantee to produce every product excellent in quality and always maintain a high capacity and efficiency.

In order to keep our consistency with special stitching, we have 9 "Brother" computerized sewing machines imported from Japan for our needs. These machines can be programmed with the desired stitching and can rapidly sew on each piece of material efficiently. With the use of these computerized sewing machines, it reduces the time of stitching manually and can be ensure that each product is identical to each other.

RIVETING DEPARTMENT

With our 35 riveting machines in various sizes and functions imported from Taiwan, we are able to rivet our different styles of business portfolios, trolley cases, wheeled computer cases and other totes with special features and functions. Our experienced supervisors and workers constantly inspect the function of the machine with the collaboration of workers to make sure every product can be ideally developed.

 

PACKING DEPARTMENT AND QUALITY CONTROL
DEPARTMENT

This is the final and most important stage of the production process, to ensure every product is completed and of the highest quality once the consumer uses. The packing department consists of 70 workers in this final procedure. Our quality control (QC) system is established by studying the ISO9000 international standards and to combine the experiences we gained from the manufacturing procedure of our products. Our observant QC team with 90 workers inspect from the initial stage of the production process from sewing until all the products pack into shipping cartons. As a result, we can guarantee that no defective products will reach the end user.
